Southern Stars Holiday Park

Great caravan park, one of a kind really. We stayed for 5 nights in a fenced off dog site and it was the most relaxing time we’ve camped with a dog. Off lead and no detangling of leads required, I think our dog had the best time like we did. The staff of the park were none stop working an also loved a good chat, the friendliest buggers going around and they work their butts off and you can see they take a lot of pride in their park and their job. We stayed in the caravan park for long weekend in September this year and found the grounds to be very well kept. The grass site were large and very green. Even helped to get you into your site. All the amenities are top class and very clean. Extras like coffee van in morning, meat van for local fresh meat and entertainment in the camp kitchen are was great. They are also dog/ pet friendly. We are already booked for Australia Day weekend. Highly recommend this park.

We loved our time at Southern Stars. We are fairly novice campers but have been to a few sites now and were very impressed! All very clean facilities. The common areas were large and welcoming, we found it very easy to prepare food and clean up. Communal fire pit was fun. We barely saw the kids due to the playground and bike track, they loved it! The site are generous sizing, it didn’t feel like you were sleeping right next to your neighbour. My favourite part was the individual toilet and shower facilities. Camping with kids and needing to bath them when you’re using communal stalls is always tricky, so to be able to go behind one door with the kids made life very easy! Staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, even very patient when one of our kids weren’t rogue a few times 🤦🏻‍♀️ we very much appreciated that! I’d say it’s on the more expensive side of sites, but with the facilities that they have I can absolutely see why, you’re certainly paying for quality. We definitely hope to go again!

It was a good experience, and we would use again (and recommend). Well maintained clean sites. Helpful staff. Clean and well arranged facilities (individual showers and toilets). Has visiting food truck and coffee shop. Well located with easy access to the Dunsbrough/ Margaret River region. Did not have a pool and could do with a few trees for shade.
